Grabby Nominations 2011

The 2011 Grabby nominations were announced today. I am very excited to be nominated for several awards! Last year was pretty intense with all the projects that we had going on. It is nice to take the time to look back and reflect on all that we accomplished. It is very exciting that my partner, Steve Cruz, and I had so many nominations for our Hard Friction productions, especially that this is in our first full year of being in business. I am grateful to everyone at Grabby's for this recognition!

I am also nominated for best Art Direction for my work at Raging Stallion for the movies 'Brutal' and 'Arabian Heat.' This is an especially exciting nomination for me since Art Direction, Set Design, and Wardrobe are the main jobs that I have been doing for Raging Stallion since I started in this industry. It is important to acknowledge that Art Direction as well as other aspects of making movies is a group production. I want to thank everyone that has helped me move, lift and hang things as well as put up with me when I am stressed out working on a deadline. I want to thank Chris Ward for believing in me and trusting me with the look of our movies for the past two years. I especially want to thank Steve for getting me into this adventure, encouraging my creativity, and always being there for me!
